Another night of entertainment at the Brook in Soham saw AC Motown giving all for Lisa’s Fund, This is the forth event we have staged with AC Motown each one seems to be better than the last, said Robert Barnes Founder of Lisa’s Fund. Having flown in from a week of concerts in Poland, with only four hours to spare, they gave such a great professional performance as always.
Brook Entertainment announced they have agreed to stage another event with AC Motown on New Years Eve.
Lisa’s Fund managed to raise another £800 on the night.
We also handed over our latest cheque for £12,500 to Dr Lynn Morgan CEO of the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity who happens to be a great Motown supporter.
Lisa’s Fund has reached a staggering £95,000, we still have five thousand pounds to raise so I am not lifting my foot off the pedal just yet, but the end is in site.
What next for Lisa’s Fund? I will continue to select certain fundraising events throughout the year and concentrate on those, I also intend to work more in the Hospice as a volunteer, but I will not continue organising and attending up to four events in three days any more said Robert.
Pictured with Robert is Dr Lynn Morgan receiving the latest cheque for £12.500.
