CITY OF ELY FLOWER CLUB Invites you to their ANNUAL CLUB SHOW & COMPETITION
This year it will take the form of a ‘Social Evening’ including tea, cakes and biscuits, with a 15-minute talk from Robert Barnes on his work with The Arthur Rank Hospice through Lisa’s Fund on

Class 4 – Design to include A Box 24ins x 24ins;
Both Novices & Advanced: Class 5 – Fabric Fun 24ins x 24ins; ( Can include Wool)
There will be an opportunity for Members and Visitors to vote for their best flower arrangement in each of the above classes as well as their choice for ‘Best in Show’. Come along and have a fun evening and meet new friends. Everyone welcome.

Generosity of The Cutter Inn 24th Apil 2014
TLC Inns, who own The Cutter and Grand Central, have always been extremely supportive of Lisa’s Fund. Last Tuesday 22nd April, they invited Robert Barnes along to the soft opening of their fantastic new restaurant, Grand Central, where they kindly presented him with a very generous cheque for £1000. Their generosity didn’t stop there, they went on to collect a further £160 on the night, through asking their guests to make a donation in lieu of food. Continue reading

Easter Weekend Update 22 April 2014
A round up of the Easter weekend from Robert Barnes….
The weekend went well for Lisa’s Fund, starting with a great day at Addenbrookes Out-patients department on Thursday selling Easter Goodies and our famous Tombola, we collected £442.25.
My good friend Annabel who owns Burrows Books in High Street Passage sold the Knitted Easter chicks leading up to Easter and raised £152.50. Continue reading

FLORIDA HOLIDAY WINNERS ANNOUNCED.
The winners of Lisa’s Fund holiday to Sarasota Florida have been announced. David and Bridget Dawkins from Soham had the winning ticket which was drawn by Dr Lynn Morgan at Arthur Rank House recently.
