Lisa’s fund reached another milestone with a Motown Show on the 19th January at The Brook in Soham. The fund is now two thirds of the way, more than £66,500 has now been raised for The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.

One hundred and eighty people danced into the night to their favourite motown songs performed by the A C Motown Show. This is the forth time A C Motown have been to The Brook to help raise money for Lisa’s Fund, “… they where great” said Robert, who launched the fund in October 2010. “I cannot believe we have raised so much money in just Two Years and Four Months it’s a marvelous achievment.”

Dr Lynn Morgan, the CEO of the Arthur Rank Hospice charity, recieved a cheque for £7,500 from Robert Barnes.

Lisa’s Fund has launched a magnificent Holiday Super Draw. Do you have any unwanted Christmas Presents that can help us raise money for Lisa’s fund? We need items to use in our many raffles and tombolas throughout the year therefore we need lots and lots. Last year collections were centered around Ely and Soham, this year we are spreading further out to Cambridge, Huntingdon and St Ives.

I launched Lisa’s Fund on the 28th October 2010 in order to raise awareness of the Arthur Rank Hospice, and to raise much needed funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, my aim is to raise £100,000 for the Charity, so far we have managed to raise £64,000.
