There will be an exhibition at the Ely library that will tell you all about Lisa’ fund. The information board will be on the landing at the library for 2 weeks and you will be able to find information on the up coming events and projects that Lisa’s fund is involved in. So if you are passing the library pop in and take a look.

Tea Time Concert at The Soham Commrades Club on Sunday 23rd June 2013
The Soham Comrades Band will be performing a tea time concert for Lisa’s fun at The Brook, Brook Street, Soham. Doors open at 3:30 on Sunday 23rd June and the concert will begin at 4pm. Tea will be served in the 30 minute interval at 4:45 and the performance finishes at 6pm.

Fitness Instructor to run the Cambridge Spartan Race Sunday 1st September 2013

Sarasota Holiday draw results 10th March 2013
The winner of the 10 day holiday to Sarasota Florida was announced by Dr Lynn Morgan CEO of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. The lucky winner was Andrea Long from Mepal who said she was delighted and very excited. ‘I will be taking the holiday next year as we have already booked our holiday for this year.’ Christa Pleasents, spokesperson for Morning Glory Holidays Inc. who donated this magnificent prize said, ‘We are always ready to help a good cause and Lisa’s Fund is doing such a great job for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.’

Co-Operative Littleport fund raising takes Lisa’s fund to £70,000 14th March 2013
The Co-op supermarket on Wisbech Road Littleport have been very busy fund raising for Lisa’s Fund. Robert Barnes who launched the fund almost two and a half years ago said, ‘The latest donation of £643.14 was from fund raising events leading up to Christmas. Store Manager Chris Wright and his team are doing an amazing job raising money for Lisa’s Fund, the latest donation also includes matched funding from the Anglian Co-op Retail Service.’
At the moment the staff are selling draw tickets for a very large Chocolate Easter Bunnie donated by Cherry Hill Chocolates of Ely, they are also asking their customers to sponsor the next Sky Dive Christine Gibbs and Robert will be doing on the 20th April, ‘They are such a great team, I cannot thank them enough for their continued support’. Robert Barnes and Christine Gibbs to Skydive on Saturday 20th April 2013
Robert is taking to the skies again to raise much needed funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. Robert first took to the skies last September and had such a good time he is up for it again.
Robert will be joined in the dive by Christine Gibbs from Soham. Swedish born Christine is embarking on a nursing degree and when qualified hopes to work within the hospice movement. “I have wanted to do a skydive for sometime and now I have found a great cause, I am ready to go. I have known Robert for many years and watching him work so hard for Lisa’s fund, and seeing it grow and grow I felt I simply wanted to be a part of this great cause.” Robert said that he is delighted to have Christine on board and together they hope this event will raise lots of money.

Addenbrokes fundraising day raises £230.17 Friday 15th February 2013
