NISA a part of the Community 27th July 2015

Today saw another significant step for Lisa’s Fund. The recently opened NISA Convenient Store in St Marys street Ely have decided to partner The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity by having collection boxes on all their cash registers.

They are also offering their car park space for the Hospice and other charities to use around once a month for fundraising activities. Manager Pamimi Rathore commented they would like to become more connected to the community and this seems one of the ways it can be done.

Robert commented, with the New Hospice now under construction this is great news, I would like to thank Pamimi and the rest of the team for making this happen.

Mollie and Charlie update 29th July 2015

Great news! Due to the continuing success of Mollie and Charlie’s album ‘Wish you were here’ the total amount raised to date is more than £5000! A cheque will be handed over to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity at 11am on Friday 7th August at Babraham Park and Ride. Mollie and Charlie will be there and you could hear them playing live.

Fundraising Update 12th July 2015

Lisa’s fund has had a busy two weeks fundraising both at Aquafest in Ely and Girton Feast, in total raising £954.69.

The Lucky winner of our famous pink wheel barrow lives in Hopton Close, Cambridge but wishes to remain anonymous the ticket number was 172.

A big thank you to all the volunteers for helping Lisa’s fund on both days, and the Great British public who give so generously on both occaisions.

Lisa’s Fund has now raised £121,000.
