Robert Barnes founder of Lisa’s Fund called in to collect them and was bowled over by the huge amount they had managed to collect. ‘I use these mainly at the fundraising events at Addenbrooke’s Hospital when I have a stall every eight weeks so these are very welcome indeed’ he said.

If you have any unwanted Christmas Gifts please donate them to Lisa’s Fund at any of the drop off points in Ely, they are Burrows Books, Premier Travel, Ely News office and the Ely Standard office. We accept anything and will turn all donated items into much needed funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. We will be at Sainsbury’s all day on Saturday 21 February where Charlie and Molly will be singing tracks from there CD ‘Wish You Where Here’ between 1 and 3pm. Lisa’s fund has reached £114,000 since its launch in October 2010.
