Lisa’s Fund had three busy weekends recently starting with Aquafest in Ely on 6th July followed by the Girton Feast on 12th July and finishing up at the Witchford Music Festival on 19th July.
Together we managed to raise £1,300, “A great success, said Robert Barnes founder of Lisa’s Fund, “we also had great fun and enjoyed lots of good entertainment, especially at Witchford with live music late into the evening.”
The winner of our famous Pink Wheelbarrow full of lots of goodies was Shaun Gimbert from Witchford. Shaun commented “It’s good to support such a worthwhile cause, anything to do with the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is great.”
Robert would like to thank Corkers Crisps for donating lots of crisps, GB Iceni Water for donating 1,000 bottles of water, all the volunteers who helped over the three weekends, and the public who came out to support us as they always do.
