TLC Inns, who own The Cutter and Grand Central, have always been extremely supportive of Lisa’s Fund. Last Tuesday 22nd April, they invited Robert Barnes along to the soft opening of their fantastic new restaurant, Grand Central, where they kindly presented him with a very generous cheque for £1000. Their generosity didn’t stop there, they went on to collect a further £160 on the night, through asking their guests to make a donation in lieu of food.
Robert Barnes, who launched Lisa’s Fund, said: ‘I am overwhelmed with the warmth shown here this evening. Jo and Steve Haslam have always been very supportive of Lisa’s Fund and have held many fundraisers for us over the years. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the food was out of this world. I wish them all the best with their exciting new venture and would highly recommend their delicious new restaurant which is now open.’
