Easter Weekend Update 22 April 2014

A round up of the Easter weekend from Robert Barnes….

The weekend went well for Lisa’s Fund, starting with a great day at Addenbrookes Out-patients department on Thursday selling Easter Goodies and our famous Tombola, we collected £442.25.

My good friend Annabel who owns Burrows Books in High Street Passage sold the Knitted Easter chicks leading up to Easter and raised £152.50.

On Sunday we went to The Brook in Soham to do a collection at the Barbarians Motor Cycle Clubs weekend event. Some of them had already left but we still managed to collect £52.91.

I went off to the Townhouse in Ely later on Easter Sunday where they raffled off a very large Easter Chocolate Extravaganza and managed to raise £144.00.The Townhouse has always been so supportive towards Lisa’s Fund.

Easter Monday saw us on the Market in Ely with a huge cake and Easter Egg stall, the weather was great, and so where the people of Ely and the surrounding area who bought all our cakes and Easter Eggs. Our cake stall raised £226.76. The lucky winner of the Easter Cake was Mrs Rayner who lives in Sutton.

I would like to thank the cake makers and the rest of the team for their help and support over the weekend.

First picture is from the Easter Monday Market, the other two are from Addenbrookes Outpatients Department.
