LISA’S FUND TOPS £90.000.
The three events leading up to Christmas saw Lisa’s Fund top £90,000. Robert Barnes who launched the fund in October 2010 commented, I wanted to reach £90.000 before Christmas and we did it.
A big thank you to Billy Gee for allowing us to have a very special Christmas raffle at their Christmas dance at The Brook in Soham on 21st. December where we raised £280.
Also a big thank you to Blue-Shed Studios and the cast for allowing us to have two raffles at their adult performances of Aladdin on 22nd. and 23rd. December at the Ross Piers Sports Centre. We raised another £202. A great cast brought a new and hilarious twist to a great panto leaving the audience wanting more.
Lisa’s fund organised and attended fourteen separate events leading up to Christmas said Robert, I cannot thank the fundraising team enough for their help and support throughout this period.
