On Saturday Lisa’s Fund managed to reach £60.000 after a very successful fund raising day at the Apple Festival in Ely. Robert Barnes who launched the fund two years ago on the 28th October 2010 after loosing his wife Lisa to cancer at the Arthur Rank Hospice commented, “We raised £443.80 today I am so grateful to the small army of volunteers helping to raise such a huge amount of money in such a short time, without them I could not do the job I am doing.” Roberts’ aim is to raise £100,000 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Lisa’s name.
