I have a story to share… 16th November 2016

I have a story to share, I lost my wife Lisa to stomach cancer after a very long illness. Lisa was such a positive lady, always helping others wherever she could.

Six weeks after Lisa died I launched The Lisa Barnes Memorial Find in order to raise £100,000 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. Six years on and we have managed to raise £146,000, for the hospice, not bad for a sixty six year old who also works full time!

To find out more visit our web site lisabarnesmemorialfund.org.uk or the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity or google me, Robert Barnes Ely.

We have recently moved into our brand new hospice at Cherry Hinton road Cambridge. This is a wonderful 23 bed purpose built hospice. There is no secret formula to being a volunteer fundraiser, it’s simply telling the story wherever you can, and lots of hard work.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

Robert
